“ Replacing my conservatory roof with your product was a considerable undertaking for me and my roofer who had not used the product before. Therefore I decided to visit you premises to check the light tiles out for myself and find out a little more about installation. I was greeted by Laura who was most helpful, answered all my questions and showed me some sample installations in you premises. From measurements and photographs I provided, Laura worked out a complete list of items required and provided a quotation.
In addition Laura emailed me with web links providing video clips of tile installation.
I was very pleased with the service and follow up emails. The tiles have arrived today as planned and I look forward to finding out how the installation goes over the next couple of weeks.
Best regards ”

“ What an excellent product, easy DIY install, super high quality and a fantastic match to our existing concrete tiles. A great company to deal with, the online materials calculator was a big help and the collection process smooth and simple. Amanda in the office is a true asset to your company, brilliant communication, and has been extremely helpful throughout. Highly recommended. ”

“ I have a general building and carpentry background, but I will say that your products are very easy to use and with a bit of forward planning, it was easier than I thought. I think I was quite fortunate how the tiles worked out at the ridge but would have been fine if I would have had to of cut them, as your ridge tile gives great cover.
The room was once a separate conservatory, but as with a lot of households now, I had knocked out the back of the house and the wall of the kitchen to make one big entertainment area. The roof was then the biggest loss of heat in the winter. 25mm Celotex insulation was just stuck onto the outside face of the existing polycarb roof, between the roof bars and then felt and battened. As for the Velux, the interaction with your tiles, as opposed to a ‘normal’ traditional tile, was a little interesting. Your tile sits below the front edge of the battens and ‘normal’ tile hooks over the back of it meaning the tile line does rise a little at this point to accommodate the flashing kit but is not too noticeable.
The beauty of doing it this way, was the fact that the existing roof gave great weather proofing. As I never compromised it, apart from taking out the existing vent openers.
I intend now to stick another layer of 25mm Celotex in-between the roof bars on the inside and then plasterboard and skim to give it a vaulted ceiling look. I will send you a picture of this, if you wish, later in the year. ”
